The work is carried out in the deep sun bay together with non-profit forces with the aim of preserving beautiful natural environments in urban areas.
Martin Elfström, who is a street engineer at the municipality of Hammarö and driving the initiative, says that the resources for this type of effort are limited after the new government’s lowered environmental budget for 2023.
– We focus on areas that we have developed in collaboration with the County Administrative Board with special or high natural values so that it produces the most effect, he says.
