Highlights of the trail include the wooden Black Bridge; the Moccasin Identifier Teaching Circle, which offers insights into the rich history of the land; and scenic waterfront views.
The walk covers about three kilometers and will be held rain or shine. Hikers are encouraged to bring water and wear walking shoes. Families with strollers are welcome to join. The route includes stairs but there is an alternative, slightly longer route for those who want to avoid the steps.
Norfolk Pathways for People is a community coalition dedicated to advocating for the development and improvement of connected trails and pathways in Norfolk County.
