The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson is fighting for his survival the day after two heavyweight ministers resigned in protest of his leadership. Several MEPs have also resigned.

During the day, Johnson will be forced to answer members’ questions in the usual Wednesday hearing in Parliament. He will also attend a committee meeting.

The question is whether Johnson will be able to remain after Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid have left the government. The defection comes after the latest scandal in which the high-ranking member of parliament Chris Pincher was forced to resign after accusations that he had drunk paws on two men.

The Pincher scandal comes in the wake of the scandal that in the British press is called “partygate”, and a subsequent vote of no confidence in the Tories where Boris Johnson managed by a small margin.
