The true story of George Jung is filmed in Blow
Johnny Depp stars in the thriller as George Jung, who first encountered drugs in the wild 1960s. He quickly earns some extra money with the marijuana trade until he is caught with several hundred kilos. Instead of purifying himself in jail, George meets Diego (Jordi Mollà), who has contacts with Padlo Escobar’s Medellin cartel.
When George is set free he gets involved in the cocaine trade and soon transports tons across the Mexican border in the USA.

George Jung is said to be responsible for 80 percent of cocaine shipments to the United States have been responsible and allegedly earned around 100 million dollars. The bizarre story of the Massachusetts boy was penned by author Bruce Porter. Ted Demme (life sentence) filmed the robber gun with stars like Penélope Cruz, Franka Potente and Ray Liotta.
