Johannes Hösflot Kläbo’s unexpected words to the Swedes – after Linn Svahn’s incredible dominance: “I feel that…”

The Swedish ski ladies dominate in the sprint races.
And Linn Svahn is better than ever right now.
Then the Norwegian skiing king Johannes Hösflot Kläbo comes with an unexpected fit.

Something happened during the Tour de Ski there Lynn Svahn seriously came to life after his tough injury woes. The Swede won three of seven stages on the mini-tour and the success has only continued since then.

Svahn’s dominance

The 24-year-old has lined up wins in the sprint races and proved to everyone that she is back at the top of the world to stay. Above all, the Swedish national ski team has dominated the sprint this season.

When Jonna Sundling have had a tougher winter with illness problems, so have both Emma Ribom and Frida Karlsson stepped forward, together with Svahn. The clearest proof of the blue-yellow dominance came last Saturday.

Kläbo’s pass

When Linn Svahn won her fourth straight sprint race at the World Cup and as many as four Swedish women came behind in the first five places in the final. But is it just amazing or also worrying?
– It is clear that we are leading, but it still happens that other countries are involved. I’m not worried about the dominance being too great. I think more that the others will be eager to take the next step, says the women’s coach Andreas Domeij to Expressen.

As much as Sweden dominates on the women’s side, Norway does it on the men’s side with the ski king Johannes Hösflot Kläbo at the head.
– That discussion will always exist. If you don’t go fast enough, it’s wrong. If you go too fast, that is also wrong. What should one do? says Kläbo, to the evening newspaper.
– You train a thousand hours a year and try to go as fast as possible. Some years you succeed, other years you succeed less. If you look at the sprint on the women’s side right now, Sweden is doing extremely well there.

The Swedish ski men are having an extremely difficult time in the sprint right now. Therefore, Kläbo comes with an incredibly cheeky dick to the archrival on the other side of the border.
– I feel that there are a couple of Swedish guys who have something to learn from the Swedish ladies in order to be able to do the same on the men’s side. They get to go to more gatherings with the ladies. So we could have evened it out a bit – a few more Swedish men and maybe not as many as five Swedish ladies in the final, says the Norwegian cockily in the interview.
