The Liberals’ party leader Johan Pehrson called the Sweden Democrats a “brown mess” at a recent conference with party colleagues, reports The Express.
The Liberals also made sure that several “sick things” were ultimately not included when the Tidö agreement was negotiated, and that he is prepared to break the agreement because “he will not agree to anything”, he is said to have said according to the newspaper.
TV4 Nyheterna has contacted Pehrson who does not want to appear for an interview but says in a written comment that he “of course will do his part of the agreement”.
“The Liberals and I are fully behind the important solutions to major social problems that the Tidö Agreement contains and the close cooperation with the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and the Sweden Democrats that the agreement is based on. I will of course do my part to respect the agreement and deliver the fresh start Sweden needs. That is what I promised the voters and a promise I will keep.”
