It can be anxiety-filled to watch your favorite team play football. So to the mild degree that Västerås SK supporter Johan Hjulström chose to hang out on the stairs for parts of the matches. The benefit of that is that he gets to mother many of the other VSK supporters.
– You greet many people who are on their way up and talk and so on. I try to be a good ambassador, he says.
First winner ever
It is the first year that the Swedish Supporter Award has been awarded. Last autumn, 18 regional winners were named, and of those, Johan has now been crowned national winner by a jury from the betting company Unibet.
