Johan de Kock (58) played 224 matches for FC Utrecht between 1987 and 1994, in which he scored 20 times. Before his period in the Galgenwaard, he was a professional at FC Groningen for three years. In 1994 De Kock left for Roda JC, where he played for two years. De Kock played the last four seasons of his career for Schalke’04. In that period he also played thirteen times in the Dutch national team.
After his active career, De Kock became a trainer. In that position he never made it to professional football. In our province he was a trainer of Spakenburg from October 2012 to September 2013. From the autumn of 2013 to 2016 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the KNVB.
