Joel Kiviranta, who opened the season at the farm, signed a contract with Colorado over the weekend and managed to score in his second game in the Avalanche outfit.

Finnish striker Joel Kiviranta was on the attack in the NHL round of the night. Kiviranta impressed the fans in his home debut with 1+2 performances, when the Colorado Avalanche he represented defeated the Anaheim Ducks 8–2.

– It feels really good. The first two sets were quite difficult. One substitution in the third set was pretty good for me, I’m happy about that, Kiviranta talked after the match.

The entire Kiviranta foursome was successful in the match, as in addition to the Finnish striker, Cogliano and the Swedish striker managed to score Fredrik Olofsson, both of which were scored by Kiviranta.

The victory was the second in a row for Colorado.
