The growing tensions in the Middle East worry President Joe Biden.
To the news agency AFP, Biden says that he has urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to quickly reach an agreement on a cease-fire in Gaza.
In connection with yesterday’s high-profile prisoner exchange with Russia, he also said that the murder of Hamas’ top leader Ismail Haniya “did not help” the situation.
