Before boarding his plane to visit South Carolina and North Carolina, two of the states hit by Hurricane Helene, US President Biden evaluated the latest situation in the Middle East with members of the press.
“WE DO NOT SUPPORT”
In response to a question, Biden stated that he did not support a possible Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Stating that their talks with their Israeli counterparts are continuing and that they are discussing how to respond to Iran, Biden also noted that they had a joint teleconference call with G7 leaders today and agreed that Israel will respond “proportionately”.
Biden said after Iran’s latest attacks, “Iran has gone way off the rails.” he commented.
