After the debate between Biden and Trump, several heavy representatives of the Democratic Party have demanded that Biden drop out of the presidential election.

Julián Castro, former housing minister under Barack Obama, writes in social media that Biden appeared ill-prepared.

“He seemed unprepared, lost and not strong enough to effectively parry Trump, who lies constantly,” writes Castro, who himself aspired to become the Democratic presidential candidate ahead of the 2020 election.

Vice President Kamala Harris partially agreed that things were slow for Biden.

– It was a slow start. It’s obvious to everyone, Harris said.

However, she believes that the president then got down to business and was responsible for a “strong finish”.
