Job crawled behind his piano and made a piece of

Competition ‘memory of Lekbrug’

Rijkswaterstaat asked people a while ago to make a work of art as a reminder of the Lek Bridge. Just over twenty people did. Participants in the competition made paintings and a photograph of the arch bridge at sunrise, among other things. Job van de Groep is one of the four winners.

“We think it is very special and original that a piece of music has been made about the arched bridge,” Rijkswaterstaat said in a response. Incidentally, the jury probably has a lot of confidence in the qualities of Van de Groep and the musicians, because the jury members have not yet heard the piece. “We only have the sheet music, but we are curious about the performance.”
