This edition of Koze Kilti gives the floor to two guests. On the one hand, Franck Stevenson Vanéus, lawyer and poet, presents to us Infinite dialogues, his second collection of poems which is an invitation to rediscover the history of the country starting from the time of the Tainos. And on the other hand, Johana Joseph, by her artist name Jo-J tells us about ” Leve Kanpe », a cover in Creole of the song « Stand-up by Cynthia Erivo performed in collaboration with rapper DFI Powèt revòlte.

In the Culture of Words column, we continue with our series on the meaning attributed to the names of certain animals in the Creole language.

Music used : Jo-J & DFI Powèt revòlte – Leve kanpe (taken from Stand-up by Cynthia Erivo).
