From July 24 to August 11, France Télévisions and Eurosport channels will be on deck all day to broadcast the entire Paris 2024 Olympic Games.Viewers will be able to follow the competitions on France 2 and France 3 throughout the day, with, in addition, a digital channel also dedicated to the event. Each has a specific editorial line. La Deux will offer the best moments, we will try to broadcast each of the medals by going from one competition to another with, as the backbone, swimming the first week and athletics the second. While France 3 will rather position itself on team sports with the possibility of broadcasting all of the matches of our women’s and men’s teams, but also on sports that are part of a long time frame, such as track cycling, gymnastics or sailing. The third channel, broadcast on France.tv will focus on urban sports, such as BMX, 3 × 3 basketball or break dancing. All this should represent 50 hours of live coverage per day, it’s difficult to do more… ” explained Laurent Eric Le Lay.
The Olympic Games on France Télévisions
France 2 will broadcast all the events live from 9:35 a.m. until 11:15 p.m. Then, in the evening, France 2 will offer the talk show “Quels Jeux!”, hosted by Léa Salamé and Laurent Luyat, which will end at 1 a.m. During the night, from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., France 2 will offer reruns. France 3 will broadcast team sports live from 8:55 a.m. to 11:50 p.m., except Tuesday 30, Wednesday 31 July and Monday 5 August (triathlon), Saturday 3 August (judo), as well as Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August (marathon) where it will start at 7:55 a.m. The reruns will start even earlier (7:25 a.m.) on Thursday 1 August (20 km walk), Wednesday 7 August (35 km walk), Thursday 8 and Friday 9 August (10 km open water). France 3 will also broadcast the surfing events in Tahiti on the nights (in France) from July 27 to 30 starting at 11:50 p.m. Finally, during the F2 and F3 news broadcasts, broadcast at the usual times, you will have to switch to France 5 to continue following the competitions.

82 will be present for these Olympic Games. Basketball will be analyzed by Tony Parkerin addition to Richard Dacoury (on set), Pape-Philippe Amagou and Isabelle Yacoubou, volleyball by Laurent Tillie and Victoria Ravva and handball by Valérie Nicolas and Jérôme Fernandez. In athletics, Stéphane Diagana, Maryse Éwanjé-Epée and Christelle Daunay will accompany Alexandre Pasteur, Alexandre Boyon, Benoît Durand and Nelson Monfort.
In swimming, Laure Manaudou and Camille Lacourt will commentate the events alongside Alexandre Boyon, while for judo, Émilie Andéol will accompany Rodolphe Gaudin. Among the other experts, viewers will find Brahim Asloum (boxing), Jean-Philippe Gatien (table tennis), Justine Hénin (tennis), Justine Dupont (surfing), Vincent Clerc (rugby 7). Marie-José Pérec will be on-air alongside the presenters.
Eurosport and Max broadcast 24/7
Eurosport channels are now integrated into the Max platform offering, and will offer no less than 3,800 hours of live sport broadcast on ten different channels. Eurosport 1 will focus on historic disciplines and great champions while Eurosport 2 will highlight the French. Seven other channels will be created for the occasion. Eurosport.fr will offer up to 62 simultaneous streams.
