Jim Gottfridsson’s beautiful greeting to the Swedish people – the reactions are pouring in after the strong revelation: “It’s very nice”

Jim Gottfridsson has revealed that all the banging on the field affects his health.
Now he thanks the Swedish people for the support.
– It is very, very nice, he says to SVT.

It was in a mini-documentary on SVT that Jim Gottfridsson, one of Sweden’s big handball stars, revealed new details about his health off the handball court. Handball is a physical sport, and if you play a lot, you get hit a lot.

Strong disclosure

“Gotte” has, for example, broken his nose a total of four times, which has meant that he can no longer breathe through one nostril. He has also suffered from sleep apnea, which means that he is constantly tired on days when he cannot fall into deep sleep once he does. In an interview with Aftonbladet, he also revealed that he once fell asleep behind the wheel, with the whole family in the car.

Gottfridsson’s strong words caused many to react strongly, and also with anger as the Swede does not have time to do the surgery required to remedy the problems, as he would miss too many matches in both the club team and the national team. Now, a few days after the documentary was released, Gottfridsson comes with a greeting to the Swedish people.

Greetings to the Swedish people

He believes that the reactions have been overwhelming, and that many have reached out with supportive words.

– There have been a lot of nice and positive people, and many who care. I read everything, but I don’t have time to answer everything. It’s a bit of the back side of sports, but it’s nice that people get that insight sometimes, says Gottfridsson to SVT.

Gottfridsson believes that the most common reaction is that he should be selfish.

– It is very, very nice. Maybe I should be smart and think about myself, but the career is not that long and we love doing this, playing in front of full stands. It’s the best I know. So then I think I’ll push a bit on other things, he says.
