The first lady of the United States, President Joe Biden’s wife Jill Biden, will represent the United States at the coronation of Britain’s King Charles III on May 6, the White House announced.
Joe Biden announced who from the United States would attend the coronation during a phone call with King Charles on Tuesday.
The President also said that he himself looks forward to meeting the King in Great Britain at a later date and also discussed the two countries’ strong connection and friendship.
