Jî Drû is a flautist, arranger and producer. He is now signing “Fantômes” with label Bleu. A second album with jazz and poetic sounds. A refined and dreamlike disc that mixes the sounds of transverse flutes with Bamboo Peul with the voice of singer Sandra Nkaké.
His magic flute makes him take secret paths, in the recesses of his imagination. From which sprung 14 stories, adorned with jazz, blues, and classical strings. 14 stories therefore, refined, poetic and cinematographic. Ghosts, demons, sirens but also the activist Rosa Luxembourg make their captivating songs heard on “ Ghosts »the flautist’s new album Ji Dru.
