Jessie Diggin’s words about Swedish competition before the World Cup

Jessie Diggins is one of the world’s foremost cross -country skiers, especially at longer distances. In an interview with News24 she tells about her thoughts on an upcoming World Cup in Trondheim.

On Saturday Andersson came one and on Sunday she stood on the podium again, then in third place.

The track in Falun is one of the Toughest World Cup. When Diggins arrives at News24’s microphone, she says the following about the race:

– It was very difficult, but I’m very proud of how hard I fought.

Is the track in Falun World Cup’s toughest?

– I think it is different for all riders, depending on their strengths. But it is definitely a very challenging track, says Jessie Diggings.

Diggins commented on more than happy Andersson’s strong form.

– She looks fantastic and I think she should be encouraged.

When News24 asks who she thinks will be at the top during the World Cup, she cannot give a definitive answer, while she flags for those who did not compete in Falun.

– To be honest, I don’t know. Everyone will peak and be in their best shape, and not everyone was not today. So it’s a bit of a mystery.
