Venezia is in danger of relegation in Serie A.
In the Italian soccer league Serie A, Verona took a home win over Venezia in Friday’s late match with goals of 2–1.
The match started with Venezia taking the lead in the second minute, but Verona equalized just seven minutes later.
At the end of the second half, Verona got their winning goal with nine minutes left in the actual game time. The goal was scored by Venezia’s Finnish goalkeeper Jesse Joronen to the names. Verona Grigoris Kastanos the header hit Jorone’s body, from where the ball went into the goal.
Venezia’s second Finnish player Joel Pohjanpalo was on the green for 73 minutes. The attacker did not succeed in his goal attempt in the first half. Goalkeeper Joronen, on the other hand, saved two goals in the match.
After seven games played, Verona is in 10th place in the league table, while Venezia is in danger of relegation in 19th place.
