What a talent night! The first semi-final of Talent is now at an end and the contestants offered incredible numbers. But despite that, there were only two final places and the viewers wanted Jennifer Aoun and Pontus Lidman to advance to the final!
Jennifer snagged a final place with her song
13-year-old Jennifer Aoun was told after her first audition that she looked a bit like Céline Dion in her number and the jury wanted to see more of Jennifer. When she stepped onto the Talang stage during the semi-finals, that was exactly what we got when she sang “Hold my hand” by Lady Gaga.
– Last time you got to see a glimpse of Céline Dion, but now you’ll get to see me, Jennifer said before her number.
And there were, to say the least, cheers and standing ovations from the jury. Viktor Norén loses it completely and stands on top of the jury table.
– There are no golden buzzers here, but if there was a diamond buzzer I would have torn my heart out and thrown it at the button, says Viktor.
Pontus left the jury in complete shock
Pontus Lidman was last out with his number, a number that left the jury in total shock. It was an extraordinary magic show.
– I don’t understand what has happened, what has happened? You are a genius, notes Johanna Nordström.
The presenter Pär Lernström also notes something else – that Johanna is visibly shocked after this.
– If you look up shocked now, it’s their face you see, he says.
In the player above, you see Jennifer’s number – which made Viktor Norén stand on the jury table.
