On November 15, 2022, Jenifer celebrated her 40th birthday and two decades of an exemplary career. She returns today with a ninth album, with vintage sounds, both festive, sparkling and intimate, made between London and Paris.
A few weeks ago, the TF1 television channel relaunched its cult program “La Star-Academy”. On this occasion, the new promotion was able to meet Jenifer, the winner of the very first season, who offered them a medley of her greatest hits, which have often become true cult titles for an entire generation.
It must be said that she has come a long way from the little Niçoise: 20 years of career, 5 million albums sold, and a few awards stamped NRJ and MTV. She has become a real popular singer, with a sure voice and capable of marrying a wide variety of musical styles, and changing skin from one album to another.
Here is the ninth, simply titled “N°9”. An album that is both festive and personal, where strings, brass and percussion combine in a vintage tone that suits it perfectly. The album has just been released by Universal Music.
