The Ivorian engraver, sculptor and performer, Jems Koko Bi has been presenting since Thursday, September 28, “ Remains of the Mé » (south-eastern region of Ivory Coast), at the Cécile Fakhoury gallery in Abidjan. This exhibition is the result of an immersion of several months in the forest, a place which was disfigured during the colonial era to notably build railways and several infrastructures. Through this exhibition, Jems Koko Bi revives this memory.

The sculptures by Jems Koko Bi can be seen until January 6, 2024.
