Jeglertz, 51, jumped on the assignment in Linköping at the beginning of 2021. During his time, LFC has regained the position as a top team in Swedish women’s football.
The industry has noticed that. Today he got the job as Denmark’s future national team captain.
He leaves Linköping in the middle of the season.
“It’s been two and a half fantastic years and I’ve loved going to work every day. The new assignment is an exciting challenge for me and although it feels like the right step to take, it’s also sad,” says Jeglertz in a press release.
Jeglertz will have his last working day in Linköping on July 31. The club is working to find his replacement.
