LOVE IS IN THE PRE 2022. The farmers of Love is in the meadow took stock of the season on Monday 14 November. Jean explained the reasons for his unexpected breakup with Laurence.

This Monday, November 14, against all odds, Jean, emblematic figure of this season of Love is in the meadow, appeared alone in the balance sheet. However, everything seemed to indicate that with Laurence, the breeder had finally found the happy end of his difficult love journey. During the stay at the farm, he had indeed fallen for the shy but cheerful Laurence, sealing the beginning of their relationship by exchanging a greedy kiss under the dumbfounded gaze of Nathalie, his other suitor. Once alone, nothing seemed to be able to stand in the way of the lovebirds who were already spinning the perfect love during a weekend in Rome.
So what happened for Jean and Laurence to separate after a few months? The breeder himself is still in shock when he explains the reason for this unexpected breakup to Karine Le Marchand: it is ultimately the distance between Charente and Beaujolais that got the better of their relationship. Indeed, Laurence could not stand the distance from her family and therefore preferred to break up with Jean. “It shocked me so much that I didn’t want to come to the balance sheet,” says the breeder. But he puts it into perspective, after all the discoveries he made thanks to Love is in the meadow, he intends to “continue to enjoy and evolve in the right direction”.
Nadège’s surprise love at first sight
In this second part of the balance sheet of Love is in the meadow, Nadège also had surprising news to announce to Karine Le Marchand: she fell in love at first sight! “I really didn’t think I would live that one day,” she says, beaming with happiness. It’s neither Maxime nor Corentin, her two suitors for the season, but it’s indeed thanks to the show that Nadège found love since she fell under Pierre’s spell, the best friend of Guillaume du Limousin (another farmer this season). After three months of relationship, Nadège decided to go live with the man she considers the man of her life.
Are the other farmers a couple?
This final part of the review was also an opportunity to take stock of the love situation of the rest of the farmers this season. Alexandre and Annaïg showed up more in love than ever and with lots of plans for the future, just like Guillaume and Tom. As for Noémie, Agnès and Alain le Breton, they are still looking for love but retain only the positive aspects of this adventure, which allowed them to know what they really wanted. Thus ends this 17th season of Love is in the meadow, but know that the 18th season is already launched!

Love is in the meadow is a program broadcast on M6 since September 8, 2005. Each year, farmers participate in the hope of finding love through the broadcast of their portraits in the program. This is presented by Karine Le Marchand. Season 17 portraits air on Channel Six on February 14 and 21, 2022, ahead of the rest of Season 17 from August 22 to November 14, 2022.
Love is in the meadow features 13 farmers in its 2022 season. Among them are nine men and four women, ranging in age from 25 to 73. Several atypical profiles should be noted during this edition, and viewers were able to discover their respective characters in the portraits broadcast on February 14 and 21, 2022. Here is the list of candidates for Love is in the pre 2022:
- Agnes, 58, is a master brewer. She lives in the Great East. After the speed-datings, she invites Eric and Christian. But it is the first that wins his preference. But she ends up single at the end of the 2022 season.
- Alain is 58 years old and lives in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. He works as a breeder of calves under the mother and a trader. Affected by Covid-19 during speed-datings, he invited his three suitors, Alain, Gilbert and Jean-Noël to the farm. However, he ends up choosing his namesake, Alain, while expressing reservations. They end up breaking up before the balance sheet.
- Alain “the Breton” is 73 years old. He works in equi-tourism, in Brittany. After the speed-datings, he chose to invite Catherine and Marie-Ange during the stay at the farm. It is with the latter that he chooses to continue the adventure, but they end up separating, not being in agreement on questions of intimacy.
- alexander is a 36-year-old dairy and grain farmer from Normandy. He invites Laura and Annaïg to spend the stay at the farm. Laura notices that she and Alexandre are not compatible and decides to leave. Alexandre and Annaïg continue their relationship and even plan to move in together.
- Emmanuelle is a 42-year-old winemaker from the Grand-Est. She is the daughter of Jean-Paul, also a candidate for the ADP this season. However, she decides to abandon her participation after reading the mail.
- Guillaume “l’Auvergnat” is a breeder of suckler cows and an educational farm. He is 34 years old and lives in Auvergne, as his nickname suggests. He takes advantage of the stay at the farm in the company of Maxime and Tom, and chooses Tom to pursue a romance.
- William “from Limousin” is a 28-year-old suckler cow and poultry farmer from Nouvelle-Aquitaine. After inviting Noémie and Margot to stay with him, he becomes disillusioned when he realizes that his two suitors are friends. It is finally with Noémie that he chooses to continue his love affair. They are still together on the balance sheet.
- Jeans is 58 years old. Breeder of suckler cows, he lives in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. After weeks of tension between his two suitors, he ends up choosing Laurence, after having kissed her in front of her rival Nathalie. Jean and Laurence, however, broke up before the balance sheets.
- Jean Paul is a 70-year-old winemaker from the Grand-Est region and Emmanuelle’s father. Unlike his daughter, he continues the adventure by inviting Valérie, a former flirt, and Devi to his farm. It was the latter that won his preference. However, they broke up before the balance sheet.
- Nadege is a 30-year-old equine inseminator. She lives in Brittany. She invited Maxime and Corentin to spend the stay at the farm, but Maxime ended up leaving the adventure. Nadège however meets a friend of Guillaume du Limousin, with whom she falls madly in love and for whom she plans to leave everything behind.
- Noemie is the youngest of this 2022 season of L’ADP. This 25-year-old grain farmer and cow breeder is from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. She confessed to Romain, who left the farm, to have a preference for Gaël. But three weeks later, they break up. She is still single at the time of the balance sheet.
- Sebastian lives in a small village in Corsica. Aged 35, he is a pig breeder, butcher and castanéiculturist. He takes advantage of the stay at the farm with Perrine and Léa, but it is the latter who has his preference. They broke up before the balance sheet, however. Sébastien is now dating a certain Charlène.
- Thierry is a former candidate of Love is in the meadow. Winegrower and arboriculturist, this 65-year-old man kisses Sylviane after the second day and chooses to continue the adventure with her, when she is not yet in love with him. But Sylviane quickly breaks up with him. He has since started a relationship with Mireille, who contacted him during his first participation seven years ago.
Love is in the meadow returned on August 22, 2022 on M6. Spectators were able to discover the first episode of the season and the first speed-datings between farmers and candidates at their heart. Subsequently, the program is broadcast every Monday evening on M6 from 9:10 p.m., until November 14, 2022. The portraits of farmers, for their part, were broadcast last February.
