We learned this morning that the commentary by Jean-Marc Jancovici responding to a survey that we devote to him, had been deleted on the LinkedIn social network. We did not wish to speak before knowing exactly what could have happened. It turns out that it is an action of our moderation provider on social networks (used by many press actors). We are surprised and disagree with this decision, which confuses our visceral willingness and ability to accept criticism and confrontation, when they are not insulting or defamatory. We ask our readers and Jean-Marc Jancovici to accept our apologies. In this case, his comment was not offensive. We are quite ready to answer it. The survey we publish is solid and balanced. Of that, we have nothing to be ashamed of. We consider it our journal’s duty to investigate icons, even when they are close to our line.
