The full -screen roads in Vermont were bordered by protesting people when JD Vance arrived.
After the stormy brawl with Zelenskyj, JD Vance has gone on a skiing holiday for some time with the family.
But he did not receive any further welcome but was met by mocking placards.
“Go and ski in Russia your traitor,” it was possible to read on one of them.
JD Vance has traveled to Vermont to ski with the family. That after a big riot where he went hard to the Ukrainian president and, among other things, accused him of being ungrateful.
“Offer some appreciative words against the United States and the president trying to save your country,” he told Zelenskyj.
But when the vice president arrived at the ski resort, his caravan was mocked. On one of the cars, a sign was pasted where someone wrote “Hillbilly go home”.
Along road 100, more than 700 people had stood and held up different placards, writes Boston Globe.
One person waved a sign where it said “Go skiing in Russia your traitor” written down and another with “ashamed of you Vance”, shows pictures from X. Many acclaimed Zelenskyj in different ways and waved with Ukrainian flags.
– It’s shameful, really shameful. The world will stand up for Ukraine now and not expose Zelenskyj to bullying, which was what we saw in the show the house yesterday, says Carl Benson, who stands with a plaque in his hand.

“Tricky day”
Others found different creative ways of expressing their dissatisfaction. Several skiers went down the slopes wrapped in pride flags. One who took the opportunity was Lucy Welch, who had the task of reading the weather forecast.
“It’s a really tricky day, and I hope that everyone who comes to the mountain or not comes to the mountain uses their voice and stands up for what they know our society stands for and should stand for,” she said on the phone according to Boston Globe. The message was later removed and since the ski resort is private, protesters have been removed from the site.
The Vice President’s journey was planned since before. He will spend the weekend in Sugarbosh, one of the most popular ski resorts in the country. The resort goes by the nickname “Mascara Mountain” because the holiday destination attracts so many celebrities.

Was forced to change accommodation
From the beginning, the plan was that he would stay at Pitcher Inn but decided to change hotels after people gathered outside, many with Palestinian flags.
– I’m not a big fan of the guy either, but I wanted him to come in and try my beef on Friday, says Alex Brink, chef at Pitchers Inn.
Already before the Vice President’s visit, the state governor Phil Scott made a statement in which he urged everyone in the area to be “respectful” during the visit. But it seems to have been like this.
“Go fuck a couch, not this country,” it was possible to read on one of the signs.
On the one hand, however, a small crowd of his supporters had gathered to welcome him with American flags.
– I love JD Vance, says Anthony Levine and continues:
– This country was heading in the wrong direction. If you can’t see it, you can’t cure stupidity.
