Sara Hector has been close to a podium in three of five World Cup races.
In the giant slalom in Lienz, she is chasing her first podium. And she has an excellent starting position as she stood for a giant race.
Hector started well and finished in style as she progressed to the second run, 0.63 behind American star Mikaela Shiffrin, who was fastest.
– There are nice turns by her and she gets good pressure on the stuff. She gets quite a lovely ride, says Pernilla Wiberg.

Estelle Alphand ended up far behind the top 15 and thus misses the second race. For Hilma Lövblom, it ended soon after she left.
Liv Ceder and Lisa Nyberg completed their runs but they too ended up far behind.
