In A Working Man by director David Ayer (Training Day) and co-screenwriter Sylvester Stallone (!) Statham gives one Construction worker named Levon Cade for the best. Fans of author Chuck Dixon already know this from the original novel. As a working father, he leads a peaceful life until his boss’s daughter is kidnapped and his military skills from his past suddenly become very useful. The goal is to break up a dangerous human trafficking ring.
Other roles include Stranger Things star David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Fleming, Noemi Gonzalez and many more.
Jason Statham and action specialist Ayer most recently worked together on the film The Beekeeper. Whether A Working Man can keep up with this or even become better will be seen in the spring.
