In today’s TV tip, Jason Statham not only has to deal with the death of an old friend and a very personal assignment, but also with a new sidekick. All of this makes The Mechanic a really cool, pretty hard and highly entertaining action thriller that you shouldn’t miss.
Today on TV: This is what The Mechanic is about
Bishop is such a good assassin that usually no one notices that he has struck. If everything goes according to plan, he disappears without a trace. A particularly tricky assignment puts him on the side of his friend and mentor Harry, whom he reluctantly kills. At the grave of the deceased, however, Bishop meets Harry’s son Steve.
Steve and Bishop join forces after initial differences and Bishop takes the His friend’s son under his wing to teach him his tradeThe first few missions they undertake together go pretty badly, but they bring the unlikely pair together. Ultimately, they find out that Harry was wrongly killed – and Steve discovers who is really behind it.
It certainly doesn’t get harder, more action-packed and more entertaining on TV today
It’s just a lot of fun, Jason Statham in his starring role as a taciturn and incredibly cool contract killer Added to this is the complicated relationship with his protégé, whom he initially trains to be another mechanic only very reluctantly.
The whole thing is garnished with tons of cool one-liners, beautiful pictures, chic locations and of course lots of action. When it becomes clear that the two contract killers compete against each other have to, there is a correspondingly great tension.
Want plenty of action and even more tough guys? Then Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Phantom Commando might be just the thing for you. The film could have been even more extreme: an action idea from Arnold Schwarzenegger himself was so brutal that the star was banned from it.
