Jason Statham and Jake Gyllenhaal will destroy your home theater

Do you want to really let it rip again so that the walls shake? Then you shouldn’t miss the action fireworks that will be set off on TV today. Michael Bay’s Ambulance and Guy Ritchie’s Cash Truck run one behind the other and really push the envelope.

Absolute action on TV: That’s what Ambulance with Jake Gyllenhaal is about

William Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) actually just wants to borrow money to pay for his wife’s operation. However, his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) convinces him to rob a bank. As they escape, the two grab an ambulance, in which a seriously injured police officer is kept alive by paramedic Cam Thompson (Eiza González). What follows is an absolutely insane chase.

Action refill: What happens in Guy Ritchie’s Cash Truck with Jason Statham?

In Jason Statham’s best film in 15 years, he signs on as H at a cash-in-transit company. The vehicles have been robbed more and more frequently lately, but H knows how to defend himself takes no prisoners when his transport is ambushed. He takes tough action against the criminals – not just because it’s his job, but also because he’s pursuing his own agenda.

In Ambulance and Cash Truck no stone is left unturned

The two films race across the screens at full speed and leave no doubt that this is all about being as good as possible bombastic, hard-hitting and breakneck top-speed action goes. We don’t expect anything different from Michael Bay, but the path Guy Ritchie takes with Cash Truck is doubly surprising. This is definitely not a British gangster comedy.

TV or stream: When and where is the action spectacle running?

This Sunday, May 19th shows ProSieben from 8:15 p.m the free TV premiere of Ambulance. Immediately afterwards, Cash Truck runs from 11:05 p.m. and lasts until 1:25 a.m. The repeats will then come on the night of May 24th to 25th from 10:35 p.m.

Of course, the two action hits are also available to stream on Magenta TV, Amazon, Apple TV, Maxdome or Google. However, they are not included in a streaming subscription.
