DC has surprisingly released the trailer for the sequel to their hit film Aquaman, which is scheduled to hit cinemas in December. We have briefly summarized what you can expect from the sequel here on MeinMMO.

Aquaman and the lost Kingdom is the sequel to the 2018 DC hit Aquaman and picks up after the events of the first film. For many fans, the sequel seems to be a bright spot, judging by the reactions to the trailer.

Why is the sequel a bright spot for DC fans? As is clear from the comments on YouTube, fans are excited about this sequel. kingsoloist writes that Aquaman 2 is “a ray of hope for all DC fans” and he doesn’t seem to be alone with this opinion.

The fans don’t just seem to be so excited about the film because of the story and the charming lead actor. Many also praise the director James Wan in their comments and hope for great work from him.

There is also enthusiasm about the returning cast from the first part. The antagonist in particular seems to have become a fan favorite, just like Aquaman himself.     In the fight against Black Manta, Aquaman teams up with his imprisoned brother Orm. The rather incongruous duo now faces the great task of resolving their differences in order to save Atlantis and avert disaster for the entire world.
