Jason Momoa is now causing all out confusion in DC Crisis

We’ll see Jason Momoa as Aquaman at least once more. In the upcoming DC sequel Aquaman: Lost Kingdom he may be playing the superhero role for the last time. In the plans of the new DC film bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran, which have not yet been published, the old DCEU should play practically no role.

Now Momoa voiced again on the DC future and his statements do not exactly provide clarity.

Jason Momoa Teases New DC Roles Without Giving Up Aquaman

As Variety reports, the star said in an interview that he will always be Aquaman. Whether he is indicating that after Aquaman: Lost Kingdom further appearances of the superhero are planned or whether Momoa Statement meant more symbolically has is not clear.

There has also been a rumor going around for a while that the actor is the DC character of the alien bounty hunter Lobo could embody. Momoa recently teased that the decisive step for this line-up may already have happened. In the Variety talk, he only says that there might be other characters for him.

According to unconfirmed rumors, the star will also as Ben Grim aka The Thing for a new Fantastic Four movie be a talking point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether Jason Momoa continues playing Aquaman, soon stars as Lobo, ends up in the MCU, or all three at once remains to be seen. The confusion is perfect for now, at least. In any case, we’ll see Momoa in Aquaman: Lost Kingdom from December 21, 2023.
