Jason Momoa blockbuster nabs Super Mario Bros. star Jack Black and he confirms role with funny picture

The development of a Minecraft film adaptation was confirmed in 2019 and was due to be released in 2022. Nothing came of it at first, but the adaptation of the video game sensation is still planned. Jack Black confirms Minecraft film involvement with Instagram post

It is not yet known what role Black will play in Minecraft. After recently lending his voice to the iconic Super Mario villain Bowser, his work on the upcoming video game adaptation could be limited to voice work again.
