Jasmi Joensuu of the Vantaa Skiing Club was by far the fastest in the women’s sprint qualifying of the Vantaa Skiing Championship.
Vuokatti Ski Team Kainu’s Jasmin Kähärä was the second fastest, 5.78 seconds behind Joensuu’s top time. Vilma Jylhä of the Savonlinna Ski Club skied third, 7.35 seconds from Joensuu.
Anne Kyllönen of Kainuu Ski Club was the fourth fastest in the qualifier, Eevi-Inkeri Tossavainen of Ylöjärvi Ryhdi was fifth, and Amanda Saari, representing Tampere Pyrintö, skied the sixth best speed.
The women’s round starts at 12:45. The skiing style is free.
