It was a high-ranking school at the time, based on the school’s rating. “In the past, schools were divided into categories 1, 2, 3 and four. It was one of the highest categories, now it is a real neighbourhood school for children from the inner city,” says Saenen. “We went back in time for a day, the children came to school dressed up and we made a small museum with reading boards and slates that they could work on.”
