(Finance) – Unemployment is decreasing in Japan. The Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs of Posts and Telecommunications reports that in the month of June 2024 the unemployment rate fell to 2.5%, compared to 2.6% in the previous month. Analysts’ estimates were for a confirmation of 2.6%.
The number of unemployed increased by about 20 thousand units, while employed people increased by 370 units compared to the previous year.
