The M1 spacecraft, which was targeted to be sent to the Moon by the Japan-based iSpace company within the framework of the HAKUTO-R mission, was successfully launched with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket carrying the spacecraft took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida at 16:38 Japan time.

It has been reported that the M1 spacecraft, which is expected to deliver 2 robotic rovers and the 4-wheeled Rashid reconnaissance vehicle developed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the lunar surface within the framework of the mission, will leave the Falcon 9 rocket approximately 47 minutes after takeoff and begin its journey to the Moon.
The spacecraft, which will travel to the Moon, which is about 380 thousand kilometers away from Earth, is expected to land on the lunar surface at the end of April next year. (UAV)
