(Finance) – Japan’s balance of payments shows a rising surplus in November.
According to Japanese Ministry of Finance (MOF)a current account surplus of 1,803.6 billion yen was generated, compared to the deficit of 641 billion in the previous month and the 1,549.4 billion in the same month of 2022.
Analyst estimates were for assets of 471 billion yen.
There trade balance of goods and services closed with a deficit of 1,704.3 billion yen, against the deficit of 2,597.8 billion in October and 626.1 billion the year before, against an increase in exports to 9,008.1 billion yen (+20.7% on an annual basis) and a growth in imports to 1,054.6 billion (+33.8% y/y).
