(Finance) – Tertiary sector up in Japan in April. The data ofPMI services index, published by Markit and compiled by Jinbun Bank, indicates a value of 50.7 points, up from 49.4 points in the previous month. The figure has been revised upwards with respect to the preliminary estimate of 50.5 points.
The indicator representing the expectations of directors of tertiary companiesis confirmed to be expanding for the first time in four months.
It should be remembered that the critical threshold of 50 points acts as a watershed between contraction and economic growth.
