(Finance) – Revised upwards production of Japanese factories in September 2024. According to the final estimate of the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry (METI), the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production rose by 1.6% on monthmore than expected in the preliminary estimate (+1.4%) and expected by analysts. In August there was an increase of 1.4%.
On an annual basis the non-seasonally adjusted production figure is down 2.6%.
The deliveries recorded a monthly increase of 2.4% while the stocks they mark an increase of 0.1%.
There inventory/sales ratio highlights a change of -3.8%.
