Japan Producer Prices in Line with Expectations in July

Japan industrial production declines in February

(Finance) – The results are in line with expectations producer prices in Japan in the month of July 2024. According to the Bank of Japan, factory prices increased by 3% on an annual basisabove the previous month’s figure (+2.9%) and equal to the expected +3%.

On a monthly basisindustrial prices rose by 0.3% after +0.2% in the previous month.

THE import prices marked an increase of 0.4% on a monthly basis and of 1.6% on a trend basis. The export prices instead they rose by 0% on a monthly basis and by 3% on an annual basis.
