(Finance) – Manufacturing activity in Japan improves. The preliminary data of the manufacturing PMI index for June, published by S&P Global and processed by Jibun Bankindicates a value of 50.5 points, compared to 49.9 in May.
The indicator thus moves above the critical threshold of 50 pointsdividing line between the phase of contraction – values below – and expansion – values above.
Analysts’ estimates were for a level of 50.6 points.
