Japan industrial production declines in February

(Finance) – Production in Japanese factories confirmed to decline in February. According to the final estimate of Japan Ministry of International Trade and Industry (METI), the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production fell by 3.9%, as expected in the preliminary estimate and expected by analysts. In January there was a drop of 6.7%.
On a monthly basis, the non-seasonally adjusted production figure fell by 0.6%.

The deliveries recorded a decline of 4.7% while the stocks they mark a decrease of 1.7%.

There inventory/sales ratio highlights a change of +1.9%.
