(Finance) – The Japanese government has approved a record budget law, the first of Prime Minister Shigeru Ishibafrom over 115 trillion yen for next year.
In particular, the defense expenditure rose by almost 10%, to 8,699 billion yen, while those destined for welfare they are equal to 38,277.8 billion yen, approximately 30% of the total.
Specifically, the defense budget – increasing for the 13th consecutive year – includes expenses for the mass production of surface-anti-ship missiles to hit enemy bases with different attack profiles, as well as unmanned drone monitoring systems produced by American General Atomics Aeronautical.
