Japan February industrial production revised up by 2

(Finance) – Revised upwards production of Japanese factories in February 2022. According to the final estimate of the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry (METI), the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production has risen by 2% on a monthly basis, with an improvement over the + 0.1% indicated by the preliminary estimate and by the consensus. In the previous month, industrial activity had recorded a decline of 0.8%.

Every year the non-seasonally adjusted figure for production is up by 0.5%.

There ability to use marks a growth of 1.5%, accelerating compared to -3.6% in January.

The deliveries are unchanged on a monthly basis, while the stocks increased by 2.1%. There inventory / sales ratio stands at 2%.
