(Finance) – In the month of February 2024 i family consumption in Japan they stood at 279,868 yen, up 1.4% on a monthly basisafter -2.1% in January, above analysts’ expectations, which indicated an increase of 0.5%.
The data was communicated by the Japanese National Statistics Office, according to which the trend data stands at -0.5% (+2.8% nominal) after the previous -6.3% and the expected -2.8%.
Also in December the average monthly income of working familiesstood at 561,495 yen, with a nominal increase of 0.7% and a decrease in real terms of 2.5%.
