The Swedish national football team was clearly mocked at the Sports Gala.
Which made the national team captain Janne Andersson go to the roof with anger.

The past year has been heavy for the Swedish men’s national football team. First, Blågult missed the World Cup in Qatar during the winter and then they were also kicked out of the Nations League’s B group.
Mocked Sweden
Then came a real boot at the Sports Gala when the presenters Pernilla Wiberg and Måns Zelmerlöw mocked the national team live in front of the entire Swedish people.
– There are a lot of sports that do not have a place in a sports gala, such as Sweden in the football World Cup, said “Pillan” at the gala.
– Exactly, or in Uefa Nations League group A, or group B for that matter… But listen, what fights are we looking forward to in group C of the Nations League, right? Gibraltar and Kosovo, goosebumps!, Zelmerlöw then filled in.

Just the last words were given to the national team captain Jan Andersson to go to the roof of anger. Two months after the brazen mockery, the national team coach now opens up about his great disappointment after the Sports Gala.
– I think it is deplorable. A gala in my world is for celebrating achievements and people. I didn’t hear it myself but it was told to me, then I was sad. I think it’s bad, says Janne when he visits Olof Lundhs podcast.

Janne Andersson himself was in the Sports Gala during a recorded sketch together with the TV profile Måns Zelmerlöw. After the presenter’s inappropriate mockery, the national team captain acted immediately and contacted SVT with harsh criticism.
– When I found out about this, I sent an SMS to the producer and said that I thought it was bad. Then they can handle it as they want, Andersson says in the interview.

But Janne did not immediately get the answer he had hoped for from the SVT producer.
– He slipped away a bit and explained that it was not meant badly. I wanted to point out that I thought it was boring. In general, I have a hard time with this world where you should mock – praise people or be quiet, the national team captain admits in the podcast.
