Sweden has had a tough start to the European Championship qualifiers.
But there is no lack of interest in Janne Andersson out in the football world.
His new revelation makes every single Swede put the coffee down his throat.
Sweden had nothing to oppose when the world nation Belgium visited Friends Arena during the European Championship qualifiers. It was a clear loss and a nightmare start to the qualifiers, and since then Sweden has also managed to lose against Austria, and it is currently a real uphill battle in the fight to reach the EC.
The shock revelation
During the past year, Janne Andersson has been under pressure and at times questioned. But there is no lack of interest in him out in the football world. Roberto Mancini left his job as national team captain in Italy earlier in the summer to take over the Saudi Arabian national team instead. According to information, he receives, in rounds, over a billion kroner in salary.
And Janne Andersson has also received an offer that – to say the least – can be described as lucrative. According to Aftonbladet, Andersson should have received offers that would do. “Him and the whole family financially independent”. However, it was a no from the Swedish national team captain, who according to the evening newspaper has an annual salary of over four million kroner at the moment.

“Incredible in this”
Janne Andersson says that he cannot see himself anywhere else.
– I have the job I want. I am extremely proud to have this job. It is a difficult job, a challenging job. But there is nothing that I feel I would rather do. I’m on fire and I hope my players are on fire as much as I am when there’s a match, he says.
Janne Andersson does not rule out other coaching jobs in the future, after his contract with the national team has expired, but that he is now only focused on one thing.
– I am so incredibly into this. I haven’t even thought that kind of thought. We want to go to the European Championships and we will work for that this autumn. The day I quit, we’ll see what happens. I’ve had a number of good requests along the way that I’ve turned down based on the fact that I have the job I want right now.
