According to a spokeswoman for Ajax, Wouters has now been given a role as a staff member in the superstructure of the training. The 70-time international started his playing career in the 1980s at FC Utrecht. Johan Cruijff then brought him to Ajax. Wouters was part of the Orange squad that won the European Championship in 1988.
